Outbound caller ID name
CNAM registration associates your business name with a phone number for supported caller-name lookups. The receiving telephone provider decides whether and how to display that name.
Request a CNAM update
Send Briva Voice support the affected phone number and the business name you want displayed. The name may be limited to 15 characters, using letters, numbers, and spaces. Our team will confirm the permitted format and availability.
New or ported numbers may need an updated name registration. Changes take time to propagate, and another provider may continue displaying cached information after an update.
If the wrong name still appears
Provide the receiving number, its provider if known, and a recent call example. Briva Voice can verify the submitted record; the receiving provider may need to update its own information.
