Audio conference groups and rooms

Conference rooms let several people join the same phone conference. A conference group organizes related rooms, such as rooms for a department.

Contact Briva Voice support to create or change a group or room. Provide the room name, intended users, and any moderator requirements. Our team will confirm the options available on your account.

During a conference

Press * to hear the available controls. Depending on your room and permissions, controls include:

• 1: mute or unmute yourself.
• 2 / 3: decrease or increase your talking volume.
• 5 / 6: decrease or increase conference volume.
• 4: eject the last participant (moderator).
• 7: lock or unlock the conference (moderator).
• 0: open the moderator menu.

In the moderator menu: 1 mutes all participants, 2 plays the participant count, 4 ejects all participants, and * exits.
